If you’re dreaming of waking up to views of the Eiffel Tower, then this article’s for you. You’ll be able to achieve your goal, but there are a few things you need to keep in mind. Only a small percentage of Paris hotels actually have views of the world-famous tower and most of them are in areas I wouldn’t normally recommend staying in because they lack personality and are really expensive (namely, the 7th and 16th arrondissements) There are a few exceptions (which I’ve included below), but no matter the neighborhood, hotels charge a LOT more for rooms with that precious view. If you’re fine with these caveats, I hope you’ll find the right match for you on this list of the best hotels with views of the Eiffel Tower.

This attractive boutique hotel boasts some of the best close-up views of the Eiffel Tower. It’s located right at the end of the Champs du Mars, the large green space that leads up to the tower. This is actually a livelier part of the 7th arrondissement with a good métro station (Ecole Militaire) and nearby is the lovely Rue Cler market street, so this is a much better location than some of the other hotels close to the tower (like the Pullman). Its 25 rooms are fitted with contemporary furniture and large replicas of historic artworks which are a nice touch. The most popular rooms are in the “Eiffel Tower” category, whose windows overlook the tower rising above Parisian rooftops. (WA)

There aren’t many affordable hotels near the Eiffel Tower, so this great value 3-star hotel is an excellent choice for budget travelers. It’s only a few blocks from the tower, near the northern end of Rue Cler, which means it’s also a short walk to the Seine River and Les Invalides. It has 81 rooms decorated in mostly white or grey tones with a few dashes of color. Around 20 rooms have a balcony or terrace with views of the Eiffel Tower while others overlook the hotel’s tranquil courtyard garden. It also has interconnecting rooms which makes it a great fit for families.

On the plus side, its large walls of windows offer the dreamiest views of la Tour Eiffel. Deluxe rooms have stunning views and balconies from where you can sip on a glass of bubbly while watching the tower twinkle at night. If budget isn’t a concern, you could really splash out on the Penthouse Eiffel, a HUGE suite on the 11th and top floor of the hotel that has a vast bay window overlooking the Eiffel Tower. (WA)

Moving away from the districts surrounding the tower, if you’d like to stay in a more central location, this stylish hotel near Les Halles could be a great option. Opened in October 2021, it’s situated within part of Paris’s former central post office, a cool aspect that adds to its allure. Its super convenient location means it’s only a short walk to tons of attractions such as the Louvre, the Palais Royal, Opera Garnier, Ile-de-la-Cité, and Notre Dame. It’s also a nearby Rue Montorgueil, a fantastic market street that gives you a more local feel. Only the “Eiffel Tower” rooms have views of the tower, so make sure you select one of these when booking. (WA)

Although there are a few others in the same area, this is one of the best hotels with views of the Eiffel Tower in the Saint Germain neighborhood. Completely renovated in 2023, the boutique hotel’s amazing location means you can get to most of the Left Bank’s top sites on foot (and many on the Right Bank). The charming streets, shops, and cafés of the Saint Germain and Latin Quarter are at your doorstep and the Musée d’Orsay, Luxembourg Gardens, and the Pantheon are all close by. Rooms have a modern look with light wood paneling, pale linens, and stylish black and white framed photos. The best rooms have an Eiffel Tower view and a balcony, but if these aren’t in your budget, you can savor the sweeping views from its rooftop terrace open from spring to autumn. (WA)

For a view of the Eiffel Tower AND all of Paris, book a room at this swank hotel in Montmartre. Originally opened in 1911 and entirely renovated in 2023, rooms have a clean modern decor with touches of navy blue, turquoise, or ginger. The hotel has some suites that sleep three or four, which are ideal for families or groups of friends. Only rooms on the south-facing side will have views, so double-check your options before reserving. Stepping out of the hotel, you can wander around Montmartre before returning for a drink or meal at the hotel’s rooftop bar and restaurant. (WA)
