If you’re heading to Paris in summer, booking a hotel with a pool is definitely a very smart choice. For years, pool hotels in Paris were mostly reserved for the ultra-luxurious palaces. But thankfully, pools are finally catching on, and these days, there are many more options that I myself, as a Paris local, wish I had an annual pass to. From stylish boutique stays to a quirky floating hotel, here’s my selection of the best hotels with pools in Paris.

Molitor Hotel and Spa, 16th Arrondissement
Set inside a former Art Deco public swimming pool, this hotel has the best pool of any Paris hotel. The Molitor Hotel’s 104 rooms and 20 suites wrap around a huge heated outdoor pool, totally heavenly for pool lovers. There’s also an indoor pool, spa, sauna, and steam room for peak relaxation. The pool terrace is perfect for lazy afternoons, while the rooftop attracts plenty of chic Parisians on warm sunny days.

Hotel La Fondation, Les Batignolles
One of Paris’s coolest newer hotels, this spot is found near the great local Les Batignolles neighborhood in the 17th arrondissement. Its almost-Olympic-sized pool is seriously impressive by Paris standards, where hotel pools are usually more of a “splash zone”.
La Fondation also has a gym, spa, and a peaceful raised garden to recover after a long day out exploring. When you need a refreshment, head up to its amazing rooftop bar with Eiffel Tower views. Afterwards, grab a delicious meal at either the brasserie or the more refined bistro. With deep navy tones, huge windows, and sleek modern design, guest rooms are also very tempting.

OFF Paris Seine, 13th Arrondissement
Definitely the quirkiest hotel on this list of best hotels with pools in Paris, this floating hotel floats directly on the Seine in the 13th arrondissement. And before you ask: no, you’re not expected to swim in the river. Fortunately, there’s a proper little pool onboard instead.
With its glass-heavy design, you feel almost fully surrounded by water, which is about as close as you’ll get to the feeling of living on a Parisian houseboat. Off Paris Seine is a super fun spot for drinks too, thanks to its lively bar, DJ nights, and relaxed summer atmosphere. (WA)*

Le Royal Monceau, 8th Arrondissement
Near the beautiful Parc Monceau, this glamorous hotel combines old-school Paris luxury with Philippe Starck’s sleek modern design. Back in the Roaring Twenties, artists and writers used to gather at the Royal Monceau and, I have to say, it still feels like the kind of place where someone might casually write a novel over a few cocktails.
The interiors are filled with guitars, contemporary art, and mid-century touches that make it feel more like an impossibly chic apartment than a hotel. If there’s a heatwave in Paris, you actually never need to leave the hotel, as it’s got an outdoor and an indoor pool. You can then relax in the peaceful courtyard garden, watch a film in its private cinema, sip on a drink at its bar with live music nights, or feast on Michelin-starred Italian food at its restaurant, Il Carpaccio.

Pullman Paris Centre, 12th Arrondissement
If you’re traveling with kids (or just like having space to spread out), this eastern Paris hotel is a solid pick. Family rooms sleep up to six people, which in Paris hotel terms feels massive. The vibe at the Pullman Paris Centre is modern and sleek, with grey tones brightened up by bold, colorful artwork. There’s also a fabulous indoor pool to cool down in, plus a great restaurant with a terrace that comes alive in summer.
While you’re not right beside the big tourist landmarks, you are on métro 14, the fastest line in the city. So you can easily zip across the city in no time. Nearby, you’ve also got the Coulée Verte René-Dumont, a leafy promenade on a former elevated train viaduct, and Parc de Bercy, where the kids can burn off croissant energy on the lawns and playgrounds.

Les Jardins du Faubourg, 8th Arrondissement
Tucked away near Place de la Concorde, this boutique luxury hotel is all about stylish relaxation. The indoor pool and spa are glorious after a long day of museum-hopping at the nearby Louvre or Musée de l’Orangerie, or shopping in the area’s high-end boutiques.
The Jardins du Faubourg’s garden restaurant and bar are particularly dreamy for an evening drink or meal. I also really love the hotel’s elegant Parisian look, with soft cream tones, framed artwork, and subtle Art Deco touches.

Hotel Astra Opera – Astotel, Opera District
Just steps from the Opéra Garnier and Galeries Lafayette, the Hotel Astra Opera is a super practical and super central hotel. One of its big selling points is definitely its great indoor pool. Add in a sauna, steam room, gym, and air-conditioning, and you’ve got a very comfortable base after long sightseeing days.
The hotel works for pretty much every type of traveler, too, thanks to its huge range of room categories, from compact solo rooms to larger family spaces and accessible rooms. The decor changes from room to room, with some leaning classic Parisian and others feeling brighter and more contemporary. (WA)

Drawing House, 14th Arrondissement
This under-the-radar gem in the 14th arrondissement deserves way more attention. It’s stylish, creative, surprisingly affordable by Paris standards, and yes, it has an excellent pool. Located around Montparnasse and close to the lovely Rue Daguerre market street, the Drawing Room is refreshingly local compared to more tourist-heavy neighborhoods.
The hotel leans into the artistic history of the area with contemporary art throughout, plus a chic restaurant and cocktail bar. But the real standout is the large indoor pool, surrounded by leafy tree murals that almost trick you into thinking you’re lounging outdoors instead of underground in Paris.
